Universal Security Systems corporate offices are centrally located in Hauppauge New York. The 22,000 square foot office and warehouse facility provide a strong source of support for service and installations.
Universal maintains over a half million dollars of inventory of product for service and emergency installations. We also maintain a significant stock of loaner or exchange parts both on our service vehicles and in our offices.
Universal’s facility includes a dedicated server room and secure network infrastructure complete with redundant internet connections. These connections are protected by an advanced Cisco firewall. Universal also utilized centrally managed anti-virus software and Windows Security Policies to provide the maximum level of protection for the client data stored within our systems. The server room also provides provide a secure off site backup services for client’s systems. Our facility also includes an integration lab to support assembly and testing of systems for our clients.
Our facility also includes a training center which supports our comprehensive staff training program as well as off site customer training for up to 20 people. All critical business systems including phones, workstations and servers are supported by uninterruptible power supplies and a generator backup. During the 2003 blackout, Universal continued to operate with all phone, fax and computer systems fully operational for more that 22 hours with no impact on the service provided to our clients.
